Esta madrugada, en el puesto caminero policial Paso Cerrito, se detuvo la marcha de un micro de la empresa Crucero del Norte que procedía de Puerto Iguazú, Misiones, para realizar el control de rutina.
En la oportunidad, al realizar un pasaje con el can narco detector Jana, éste se detuvo en la baulera del ómnibus marcando dos valijas del equipaje. Frente a la posible presencia de estupefacientes, los efectivos policiales ponen a resguardo a las personas propietarias de las valijas y convocan al personal de la División Toxicología de la departamental Federación. Asimismo, se informó de la situación al Juzgado Federal de Concepción del Uruguay a cargo del doctor Mariano Fornasari, quien dispuso la requisa de las valijas
En las valijas se observaron envoltorios tipo nylon de color transparente en forma de ladrillos. Se contabilizó un total de 49 envoltorios. Las pruebas realizadas confirmaron resultado positivo para cannavis sativa, por un peso de 31 kilos. Asimismo, se detuvo a tres personas, quienes fueron alojadas en la la jefatura departamental Federación, a disposición de la Justicia Federal.
