Autoridades del Ente Región Centro, mantuvieron un encuentro de trabajo junto al Cónsul de la República Oriental del Uruguay en Paraná, Darío Raúl Estades Bodao.
Claudio Ava Aispuru, presidente del Ente, expresó: «Estamos muy agradecidos por esta oportunidad de intercambiar puntos de vista. Entre Ríos tiene con el vecino país, una relación no sólo de proximidad sino también de cercanía. Es decir, compartimos una historia común y una idiosincrasia similar.
Debido a todo esto, Uruguay es un destino privilegiado para las exportaciones entrerrianas y en particular para toda la Región Centro con un total acumado en 2019 de un veinte por ciento en relación al total país».
«Hemos conversado también, sobre las medidas preventivas en términos de bioseguridad que se están llevando adelante en relación al covid-19, y qué estrategias aplican uno y otro Estado a fin de minimizar el impacto de la Pandemia. Recordamos que nuestra provincia y Uruguay mantienen una política sanitaria epidemiológica en permanente diálogo en relación a otras enfermedades como dengue y leishmaniasis ya que habitamos los márgenes y el flujo de ciudadanos es regular».
«Además, abordamos temas referidos al monitoreo permanente del río, la calidad del agua, el cuidado de los recursos compartidos, la importancia de la conectividad hacia arriba con las provincias cercanas hacia Brasil, Corrientes y Misiones. Y sobre cómo se beneficio la comercialización de productos a partir del dragado de profundización y balizamiento del Río Uruguay. Que permitió el incremento del transporte fluvial y la operativa portuaria sobre ambas márgenes, donde se están cargando buques por encima de las 20 mil toneladas, destacando el trabajo de la Comisión que presidió el por entonces intendente José Lauritto. Y otros proyectos comunes algunos especialmente vinculados a la Energía, la Cultura, el Deporte y las Juventudes».
De la reunión participaron además del cónsul, Estades Bodao y el presidente del Ente Región Centro, Claudio Ava Aispuru, su coordinador general, Juan Coniglio y Raúl Benítez, miembro de los equipos técnicos de dicho organismo. El encuentro se desarrolló en la sede consular inaugurada a fines de 2019 por el Gobernador, Gustavo Bordet. Entre Ríos cuenta además con consulados de la República Oriental del Uruguay en las ciudades de Gualeguaychú, Concordia y Colón, representando cada una de ellos una renovada oportunidad de afianzamiento de las relaciones bilaterales y la cooperación transfronteriza.
