La brigada forestal de la división de Delitos Rurales tuvo una ardua tarea este fin de semana para salvar del fuego a una escuela rural ubicada en islas y varias viviendas de la zona.
El viernes personal de bomberos forestales a la base de comisaría Segunda Charigüe y personal de comisaría Tercera combatieron frentes de incendio que se producían en el paraje denominado las Cuatro Bocas departamento Gualeguay y alertaron que las instalaciones de la escuela General Manuel Savio, corrían peligro, por presentar un foco ígneo en cercanías del lugar.
“Saludo y reconozco el sacrificado e intenso trabajo que realiza la Brigada Forestal de la Policía de Entre Ríos”, sostuvo al respecto la ministra Rosario Romero.
“Gracias a la valiosa colaboración de Prefectura Naval Argentina de Arroyo Seco y la predisposición del jefe de Rosario, se pudieron coordinar los traslados el personal para poder acceder al lugar. Se instalaron motobombas para control cercano a las instalaciones y viviendas allí existentes. Se optó por realizar unas líneas de defensa y a posteriori contrafuegos en derredor de las instalaciones logrando asegurar la zona”, contó el Jefe de Delitos Rurales, Mario Zárate.
En tanto el sábado, en la comisaría Segunda, se recibió un alerta en relación a foco ígneo que en Isla El Alemán, límite con Isla La castellana a los 32° 98 03” Latitud Norte -60° 58 40” Oeste, donde se trabajó en uno de los dos frentes que se dirigía en dirección al cardinal Noroeste, de esa manera la cuadrilla intervino acorde al viento reinante, y la vegetación ya quemada evitando, la llegada a dos viviendas que se encontraba a unos 500 metros del sitio donde se atacó el mismo. Una vez sofocado este incendio, se dirigió hacia el sector sur a unos mil metros hacia cardinal Suroeste para poder atacar el segundo foco que fue controlado.
En ambos casos, los focos trabajados datan su origen en día anteriores, iniciando en el interior de la isla y abarcando desde el interior hacia el cardinal Oeste, sentido del Rio Paraná, que dada la velocidad del viento fue que azotó el foco hacia las coordenadas ya citada.
Se trabajó con elementos de zapa y aprovechando la dirección y velocidad del viento en algunos sectores pudo ser factible realizar contra fuegos, lo que ambas aplicadas dio como resultado la circunscripción del siniestro.
Además, el mismo sábado, en horas de la tarde aproximadamente a las 14, el personal de comisaría Tercera de islas acudió al llamado de vecinos cercanos por un frente de fuego que se aproximaba a las viviendas, utilizando motobombas y bombas de espalda y herramientas de zapa comienza un ataque directo en dicho sector, solicitando apoyo al centro de comando en Alvear, que despachó un avión hidrante el cual se dispuso y actuó en forma coordinada con el personal logrando circunscribir el fuego en la zona, las tareas se prolongaron toda la tarde hasta caer el sol manteniendo la cuadrilla su posición por cualquier reinicio.
